• Account information: Your email address and password (stored as a secure hash) when you create an account.
• Notification emails: Email addresses voluntarily submitted on our maintenance or coming soon page for the sole purpose of notifying you when Arkena becomes available again. Submitting your email for this purpose does not create an account.
• AI-generated data: Summaries, insights, tags, and highlights generated from curated audio content on the platform.
• Usage data: Sparks (timestamps), playlists, and other interactions with the platform.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, and session information for security and rate limiting purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and operate the Arkena service
• Generate AI-powered insights from curated audio content on the platform
• Send transactional emails such as account verification
• Send you a one-time notification when Arkena relaunches, if you have submitted your email for this purpose. You may opt out at any time by contacting info@ansteck.com and we will remove your email from the notification list.
• Maintain security and prevent abuse
• Improve the platform

We do not sell your personal information or use it for advertising.

4. Third Party Service Providers

We use trusted third party services to operate Arkena, including cloud infrastructure, database hosting, AI processing, and email delivery providers. These services may process your data as necessary to provide the Arkena service.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data and uploaded content for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Notification emails submitted on our maintenance page are retained until Arkena relaunches and the notification is sent, after which they are deleted within 30 days. You may request removal at any time by contacting info@ansteck.com.
